I was wondering how to create a unique name for my Google plus page same as Facebook fan page. Then i came across a page which guided me to have a separate page id which will direct to my page. you can find the article in the link - http://mashable.com/2011/07/06/gplus-to-google-plus/
Matter is very simple. We have to copy the number portion which has been assigned to our fan page which i have highlighted in green colour https://plus.google.com/u/0/112197422602695344338/posts to the specified place and we have to give the unique name in which we like to have the page address That’s it. If no one has claimed that id before you, you are lucky.
By following the above procedure, now i got id for the above mentioned address and you can access that same page through this id which i have created now
